The Assessment Tomorrow 2009 Edinburgh Conference
From the conference director:
There has been much discussion recently about the Assessment is for Learning agenda and how best to reap the benefits of this coherent framework for assessment. A framework in which a wealth of evidence of learning can be gathered and interpreted to best meet the needs of learners, their parents and teachers, as well as school managers and others with responsibility for ensuring that education in Scotland is as good as it can be. Technology provides a key tool for managing this process and the 4th annual Assessment Tomorrow conference will focus the latest achievements, developments, innovation and good practice within formative and summative assessment, and how the technology supports those requirements.
