Communities, Networks and informal development opportunities

Welcome to the communities and networks space of the UTA website. Here you will find information about existing disciplinary, cross-disciplinary and thematic internal, cross-institutional and external networks to support your professional development around teaching and the scholarship of teaching.

Networks and communities can be valuable alternative professional development activities to further develop your practice, share ideas and your work, support each other, collaborate and build your profile, work towards professional recognition, even get academic credits via FLEX and provide evidence of engagement in professional development as part of the PDR process.

If you are in the process of setting up a network or a community of practice or lead one that has been established already, we would love to hear from you. Please use the short form on this page to tell us about your network.
