EQAL for Programme Teams

EQAL stands for Enhancing Quality and Assessment for Learning and it covers a range of academic, administrative and infrastructural changes aimed at improving the student experience and making our academic support processes more efficient.

The principal academic issues concern the restructuring of the undergraduate modular structure from a standard of 20 credit units to a standard of 30 credits, and the implementation of a consistent approach to assessment planning and organisation. It is worth noting here that this does not mean that all teams are expected to offer the same kinds and sizes of assignments at the same time.
